Chelsea loanee Kenneth Omeruo has told AfricanFootball.com he hopes to soon hit top form at Turkish club Kasimpasa after impressing in the team’s first two games.
Omeruo was recently picked in a Turkish league Team of the Week on account of his stunning form.
“It is great to be selected (in Team of the Week) I must say, but my confidence was already built before I came to Turkey. I just need to keep working hard and thinking of helping my team positively for me to achieve greatness,” Omeruo told AfricanFootball.com.
The Nigeria defender said he is concentrating on getting better as the league progresses.
“I won’t say I have fully fitted into the style of play here yet. But I am adapting fast. As a team we are keeping our concentration,” Omeruo told AfricanFootball.com.
“I am happy with the selection. It feels good to play and be appreciated for one’s efforts.
“We have one more game before the international break. We have to try and get points from the average teams so as to stay in the top bracket.”
